Food waste Handlers

Soldiers of Circularity

Organic waste can turn into methane in landfills, a potent greenhouse gas contributing to climate change. By diverting organic waste from landfills and using black soldier flies to process it, we can reduce emissions and create valuable products from waste.

Waste handlers are already well placed with logistics, permits, facilities, knowledge and labour to manage various food wastes. We bring Black Soldier Fly Larvae, our expertise and certain equipment to enable this additional service to be quickly and effectively added.

Waste handlers fall into two broad categories, being progressive and not progressive. Those that are happy doing what they have always done are not of interest to us whereas the progressive ones we can help to generate a real competitive advantage.
We are keen to work with waste handlers to design a suitable facility, to bring our expertise and knowledge and to give on-going support to ensure the effective understanding and valorisation of any of their waste streams that lend themselves to valorisation by BSFL.  Side streams such as the digestate from AD plants can be processed by BSFL under the right conditions and frass can be processed through AD so the optimised solution may be complex and unexpected.
